Taylor is the heart and strength of a growing family of six, a mother to four energetic boys, each with their own spark and challenges. Her days are filled with all of the chaos and beauty that come with raising children ages 5 months to 7 years old: Spencer, Liam, Levi, and baby Luke. But behind the everyday moments is a story of challenges.
Taylor’s oldest son, Spencer, lives with both epilepsy and autism. After being seizure free for two years, the family was devastated when his seizures recently returned. This has added another layer of worry for Taylor, who already faces her own complex health challenges.
Taylor has been battling lupus, an autoimmune disease that affects many parts of the body. To manage her condition she went through chemotherapy. The disease has left her without function in her left hand, creating physical limitations that she navigates daily, all while caring for four young boys. Between medical appointments and financial struggles Taylor remains driven by the fierce desire to give her children a full and joyful life.
Despite the hardships, Taylor shows up. She gets out of bed even on the hard days. And even when things feel like they’re falling apart, she never stops trying to hold it together for her boys.
Hardship Heroes is proud to gift Taylor and her family with a moments of joy, relief, and connection. Here's what they received:
